Confined Space Entry Courses with Practical

These courses are specifically designed for confined space entry. OH&S recommends that hands-on training be an essential part of confined space training. We offer this by simulating real life scenarios in our confined space entry trailer. Participants will rotate through all the key rescue positions and each rescue exercise is reviewed and critiqued to improve performance.

Confined Space Entry Level I & II with Rescue   $180 + GST • 10 HOUR COURSE • EXPIRES: OH&S Recognizes 3 Years

This course incorporates both Confined Space Entry Level I and II with rescue.

Confined Space Entry Level I with Practical   $150 + GST • 6.5  HOUR COURSE  • Expires: OH&S Recognizes 3 Years

This course will cover the OH&S standards and applicable company rules and regulations that apply as well as the necessary documentation. The focus of this course will be to increase awareness of potential hazards of a confined space entry as well as identifying a wide variety of confined spaces, as defined by Alberta Labour. This course also covers the basic equipment necessary to enter and work in an enclosed space (e.g. SCBA’s, SABA’s, harnesses, gas testing equipment, etc.)

* Authorizations/Permits (Site specific and detailed as per company standards)
* Safety and Emergency Response Procedures
* Responsibilities and Duties of: Supervision/Management, Entry Monitor, Stand-by Personnel, Bottle Watch, and Workers Entering the Confined Space
* Practical Component – Working in a Confined Space
* Written Exam

Confined Space Entry Level II with Rescue (Upgrade)   $85 + GST • 4 HOUR COURSE

This Course is specifically designed for confined space entry rescue. Participants are tested extensively on their ability to remain focused and to successfully rescue endangered personnel. Participants will rotate through all the key rescue positions and each rescue exercise is reviewed and critiqued to improve performance. Instructors continually add changes to each exercise to further test the abilities of the participants.

* Review All Company and Site Specific Rules, Regulations, and Procedure for CSE Rescue
* Participating in Numerous Exercises in CSE Rescue, Using Company Specified Equipment
* Written Exam

Please note: Students MUST have Confined Space Entry Level I with Practical.
