This two-day course covers the skills needed to recognize and provide intervention for life-threatening emergencies until medical aid arrives.Includes AED Training. (automated external defibrillater) See AED Course Overview.Content Includes practical instruction on how to: -activate emergency medical services -recognize and treat for shock and unconsciousness -recognize and treat a non-breathing casualty (adult, child, and infant) -recognize and treat a choking emergency (adult, child, and infant) -recognize and treat severe bleeding -administer 2 person rescue CPR (adult, child, infant) -provide the necessary skills to conduct a secondary survey -recognize and treat upper and lower limb fractures -recognize and treat head and spinal injuries -recognize and treat eye injuries, burns, medical conditions, and environmental illnessesTarget Group / Participants Everyone who may need to assist someone in need of medical attention, i.e. parents, teachers, trades people, etc.
