Course Overview

IFP & EWP Combination is an integrated training course for people whose duties involve operating elevating equipment while working at height. The course covers both Industrial Fall Protection and Elevated Work Platform operator safety in a single in-person session.

Participants learn to recognize fall hazards, apply fall protection methods, inspect and fit fall protection equipment used in AWP operations, perform AWP pre-use inspections, plan safe setup and work positioning, and apply safe operating procedures for aerial work platforms.

The combined format reinforces how fall protection and equipment safety practices work together to support safety at height.

Completion Requirements

To receive certification, participants must: Attend and participate in all course components Successfully complete the knowledge and practical assessments for both course components

Certification

Upon successful completion, participants receive two Certificates of Completion: one for Industrial Fall Protection and one for Arial Work Platform operation. Both are recognized for 3 years.

This course is for people who:

Operate aerial work platforms and need fall protection training
Need documented training in both Industrial Fall Protection and Arial Work Platform operation
Operate scissor lifts or boom lifts while working at height
Important Notes

Important Notes

Participants must be physically capable of participating in practical activities for both course components. Closed-toe shoes or steel-toe boots may be required for the practical portion. Full attendance is required for certification. Government-issued photo identification may be required at sign-in.
