Mobile Equipment Operator Safety Training

• This course is designed only for experienced operators.

Duration:

Core Course: 3.5 hours

Each additional Companion  is 1.0 hour

The Mobile Equipment Operator Safety Course and modules are aligned with all Occupational Health & Safety Standards, and Canadian Standard Association.

If you were to take 6 different mobile equipment operator courses you would be close to 24 hours of theory plus the practical skills assessment on each unit.  By taking the mobile equipment operator safety course and 6 equipment modules you would be close to 12 hours of theory plus the practicals.

Theory

The Mobile Equipment Operator Safety Course PowerPoint presentation:

• 3 Hours
• 30 Question Multiple Choice Test.
• 80% to Pass
• MESO Card Issued

Each Companion PowerPoint presentation:

• 1 Hour
• 20 Question Multiple Choice Test
• 80% to Pass
• Equipment Companion Card Issued
  

  Practical

  Each Equipment Companion includes the following:

  • JHA (Job Hazard Assessment)
  • Equipment Inspection
  • Function Test
  • Equipment Operation

  Practical Checklist signed by the Student and Instructor

  Equipment Companions:

  1.       Skid Steer

  2.       Telehandler

  3.       Counterbalanced Forklift

• ONLY TWO COMPANIONS IN ONE DAY – you must do CORE which gives you one, and can select up to one other companion.

• Wheel loader and Excavator can be done but practicals must be booked at your location; we do not have these pieces of equipment on location.  Call our office to book at 780-417-3777

• With the purchase of Mobile Equipment Operator Safety Course, you get one of discipline (IE, skid steer, AWP…etc)
• Each discipline gets selected after the primary core course is completed
  

  Recertification

  for each Equipment Companion, there is 3-year recertification which consists of the 1-Hour Theory and Practical.
