Course Overview
Wildlife (Bear) Awareness Intermediate Level is a four-hour in-person course covering bear awareness and avoidance for people who work in bear country. The course is Suncor and Government of Alberta approved.
Participants learn to understand bear behaviour, recognize and reduce attractants, apply avoidance and deterrent practices, and respond appropriately to bear encounters on industrial worksites.
